Problem: iPad is Not Performing as Expected or Unresponsive

Solution 1: Turn Off/On iPad

If the iPad is not performing as expected a first step to troubleshooting is to turn iPad OFF and back ON with the following steps. 

STEP 1. Press and hold the power button until you see the option to Turn Off.

STEP 2. Once iPad is OFF, press the power button again until you see the iPad turn back ON.

If you are not able to turn iPad off, please follow the steps for Solution 2 below.

Solution 2: Hard Reset/Force Reset iPad

If the iPad is frozen you can perform a 'hard reset' with the following steps. This will force the iPad to Turn Off and Restart.

STEP 1. Press and hold both the Power and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo. 

STEP 2. Then release the two buttons. The iPad will restart.

Note: Your iPad data won't be erased after a hard reset.
